It's that time of year when pumpkin reigns supreme! Every coffee shop and cafe has some version of a pumpkin treat or drink. Unfortunately, most of them are filled with toxic and inflammatory producing ingredients which promote weight gain, fogginess, mood swings, and much more.
As usual, I decided to take matters into my own hands! I researched popular pumpkin treats and then created my own version using quality, healthy ingredients. YOU'RE WELCOME :)
I have to be honest: I originally planned on presenting you with an amazing pumpkin bar dessert, but it was a total flop. Recipe testing is my jam but also time consuming. So I had to come up with plan B.
This was an amazing reminder that often things don't turn out as planned. What matters most is how we act and what we do when things don't go our way.
With a half can of pumpkin puree, I had to get creative and thankfully had tons of fun in the process. I present you with the Supersonic Pumpkin Tonic! I love a happy accident.
As always, this recipe includes only a few ingredients and is a cinch to make.
Start by putting all the ingredients in a pot over medium heat and whisk until smooth. Once the mixture is hot and starts to slightly bubble, remove from the heat and enjoy.
THAT'S IT! So simps and delicious. I recommend drinking this on the couch, under a blanket, while re-watching "Stranger Things" from the beginning.
